Eddie Murphy was in “Coming to America” with Eddie Murphy. I have never seen this movie in its entirety, but what I have seen is quite funny. This was one of the first times when Eddie Murphy began to realize that he is just funnier than everyone else ever, and should make his movies accordingly, but Arsenio Hall is sweet too.

who was in Norbit with Eddie Murphy...

It is unclear as to whether Eddie Murphy refuses to work with other people, or if they all refuse to work with him. However, if you are looking for something a bit more dramatic, check out “Stripes.” Bill Murray was in “Stripes” with John Candy. Excellent.

who was in Ghostbusters with Bill Murray...

If I had to pick one sci-fi comedy with the most cartoon-animated TV spins offs, it would probably have to be “Ghostbusters.” Dan Akroyd was in “Ghostbusters” with Bill Murray. This movie is mega sweet. Academy award winner Ernie Hudson does an excellent job portraying the team’s only black member who defies all odds to defeat the white ghosts (often thought of as an excellent allusion to the defeat of the KKK). This is for a few reasons. 1. Few movies are good enough to perfectly end a trilogy. 2. Capsulator is technically not a word. Sean Connery was in “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade” with Harrison Ford. This movie is a perfect trilogy-capsulator. It is fun, funny, funky, and even a little funded. Indiana Jones is such a cool dude that is would be hard not to make a sweet movie with him. And, I know what you’re thinking, “But Matt, what about this newest Indiana picture show? Doesn’t this new talkie make “The Last Crusade” not a trilogy-capsulator? When asked about making this movie, Sean Connery often says something like, “I don’t know what the %&^@ I was doing. Actually, let me be more specific… two end of the world-space-asteroid movies came out: “Armageddon” and “Deep Impact.” One was so f***ing sweet, and one was actually good. I’ll talk about the one that was actually good. Elijah Wood was in “Deep Impact” with Téa Leoni. This was actually a pretty good movie, if I remember correctly from when I saw it when I was 9. Although I was only 9, I was able to appreciate the mesmerizing performances of Elijah, Téa, and also Morgan Freeman as the president of America. What an ace movie.

who was in LOTR:ROTK with Elijah Wood...

One of my favorite movie series of all time is “The Lord of The Rings.” I know, I know, it’s kind of nerdy, but call me what you want… “nerdy, dorky, racist,” it doesn’t bother me. Viggo Mortensen was in “The Lord of The Rings: Return of The King” with Elijah Wood. For those of you who don’t know, Elijah played a mythical creature named Frodo and Viggo played a super human named Aragorn. An interesting side note, contrary to popular belief, both men were actually in all three movies of the LOTR series. I love movies and Hollywood, so I thought I would use my blogging powers to do something about it. This blog is actually a bit of a game. I first came across this game sitting in a car one rain evening with my friend Colin. This game is sort of like “6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon,” but less retarded. In this game, the first person says the name of an actor or actress. The next person then says that that person was in so and so movie with so and so actor or actress, and then it continues. So, for example, Person A would say, “Colin Firth.” Then Person B would say, “Colin Firth was in Bridget Jones: Edge of Reason with Renée Zellweger.” Then, Person A would say, “Renée Zellweger was in Empire Records with Liv Tyler,” and so on and so on. The game could most likely never end. It is frowned upon to repeat a person, but not illegal. As this is a blog, and I am the only person writing it, I will be playing against myself, something I am fairly used to as an un-athletic white loser growing up in a primarily black high school. I will be trying to make this as entertaining as possible and will be most likely posting every day. Also, there is one rule: NO RULES.

At first, the connections will be relatively straightforward. They will generally have fun tid-bits thrown in to make you chuckle… cause you know what they say, “ A chuckle a day has been shown in several university testing’s to reduce the effects of osteoporosis and keep it away.” So, you got that going for you.

After one year (378 days), I will see how far we’ve come and who ended up relating to whom. That’ll be so ace. Well, here we go again…
