who was in Norbit with Eddie Murphy...

It is unclear as to whether Eddie Murphy refuses to work with other people, or if they all refuse to work with him. Eddie Murphy was in “Norbit” with Eddie Murphy. Really, just awful… just awful.

who was in Bowfinger with Eddie Murphy...

It’s been a little while. I’m not sure if “Bowfinger” is a popular movie or not, but it is sweet. I have only talked to one person who has heard of it, but I usually don’t ask people about it. Steve Martin wass in “Bowfinger” with Eddie Murphy. If I remember this movie correctly, it’s pretty sweet. It’s pretty funny. It’s pretty good. It’s pretty Eddie Murphy.

who was in Planes, Trains and Automobiles with Steve Martin...

I not going to be able to post this weekend since I will not be with computer… so I apologize to those 54 of you who have read this blog. John Candy was in “Planes, Trains and Automobiles” with Steve Martin. For a very funny movie, this is surprisingly sad. Like, really sad. It sort of makes you hate yourself…and feel a bit racist too.

who was in Stripes with John Candy...

Often thought of as the ultimate war-comedy movie, “Saving Private Ryan” is an excellent movie. However, if you are looking for something a bit more dramatic, check out “Stripes.” Bill Murray was in “Stripes” with John Candy. There are few movies I have been so moved by that I have been brought down to tears… “Forrest Gump,” “Because I Said So,” “Point Break.” But, “Stripes” is definitely one of them. Excellent.

who was in Ghostbusters with Bill Murray...

If I had to pick one sci-fi comedy with the most cartoon-animated TV spins offs, it would probably have to be “Ghostbusters.” Dan Akroyd was in “Ghostbusters” with Bill Murray. This movie is mega sweet. Academy award winner Ernie Hudson does an excellent job portraying the team’s only black member who defies all odds to defeat the white ghosts (often thought of as an excellent allusion to the defeat of the KKK). At first Eddie Murphy was considered for the role, however he had several demands, including playing every character… the sole demand which Harold Ramis refused to accept.

who was in The Blues Brothers with Dan Akroyd...

I’m really not that surprised that I have started to get tired of this. I mean, when I’m at work, I have all the time in the world to blog, but I didn’t have work today, and quite frankly, I just don’t feel liking writing anything witty. Carrie Fisher was in “The Blues Brothers” with Dan Akroyd. Quite simply, this is one of the sweetest movies of all time. I mean really, it’s just so ace.

who was in Star Wars: A New Hope with Carrie Fisher...

Harrison Ford was in “Star Wars: A New Hope” with Carrie Fisher… but who cares, right? THE DARK KNIGHT WAS SO SWEET. SOOOO SWEET.

who was in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade with Harrison Ford...

There are but a few movies that really deserve the title of a trilogy-capsulator. This is for a few reasons. 1. Few movies are good enough to perfectly end a trilogy. 2. Capsulator is technically not a word. Sean Connery was in “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade” with Harrison Ford. This movie is a perfect trilogy-capsulator. It is fun, funny, funky, and even a little funded. Indiana Jones is such a cool dude that is would be hard not to make a sweet movie with him. And, I know what you’re thinking, “But Matt, what about this newest Indiana picture show? Doesn’t this new talkie make “The Last Crusade” not a trilogy-capsulator? Well…not really.

who was in The Rock with Sean Connery...

I have finally started to get some fan feed-back on this blog. It’s not good. Nicholas Cage was in “The Rock” with Sean Connery. There is not much to say about this movie. It was a small budget action-romantic-comedy B movie that lost money at the box office (**Source Needed**). When asked about making this movie, Sean Connery often says something like, “I don’t know what the %&^@ I was doing. I was so hopped up on opium and cough syrup that I thought I was making a documentary about working in an apiary” (**Source Needed**).

who was in The Family Man with Nicholas Cage...

Everyone loves a good Christmas movie. Be it, “The Santa Clause,” “The Santa Clause 2,” or “The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause,” everyone loves a good Christmas movie. Téa Leoni was in “The Family Man” with Nicholas Cage. “The Family Man” is a mythical movie about adventures time travel and the possibility of a tear in the space time continuum. If you love sci-fi’s, this is definitely a movie for you. If you enjoy movies that are actually good, stick with “The Santa Clause.”

who was in Deep Impact with Téa Leoni...

In 1998, two space movies came out. Actually, let me be more specific… two end of the world-space-asteroid movies came out: “Armageddon” and “Deep Impact.” One was so f***ing sweet, and one was actually good. I’ll talk about the one that was actually good. Elijah Wood was in “Deep Impact” with Téa Leoni. This was actually a pretty good movie, if I remember correctly from when I saw it when I was 9. Although I was only 9, I was able to appreciate the mesmerizing performances of Elijah, Téa, and also Morgan Freeman as the president of America. What an ace movie.

who was in LOTR:ROTK with Elijah Wood...

One of my favorite movie series of all time is “The Lord of The Rings.” I know, I know, it’s kind of nerdy, but call me what you want… “nerdy, dorky, racist,” it doesn’t bother me. Viggo Mortensen was in “The Lord of The Rings: Return of The King” with Elijah Wood. For those of you who don’t know, Elijah played a mythical creature named Frodo and Viggo played a super human named Aragorn. An interesting side note, contrary to popular belief, both men were actually in all three movies of the LOTR series. What are the odds?

who was in A History of Violence with Viggo Mortensen...

Here is another movie that I have not yet seen but will comment on anyway. Ed Harris was in “A History of Violence” with Viggo Mortensen. I have not seen this movie, but by using the powers of imagination and the plot summary on Wikipedia, I can tell how bad ass this movie was. I really should see it, and so should you.

was in Apollo 13 with Ed Harris...

There are a few movies that you can mention in a group of people and you can be guaranteed that everyone will have seen it. Osmosis Jones, Nancy Drew, and Apollo 13 are examples of such films. Kevin Bacon was in "Apollo 13" with Ed Harris. Although I have never seen the movie, I am sure that both men did an excellent job in their roles. What a great connection. And in this case… Houston, there is no problem.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH ROTFLOL I’M SO FUNNY.

Kevin Bacon...

This game was first invented with Kevin Bacon in mind. I’m not exactly sure why, but I do believe it had something to do, as everything these days does, with the Mayan Calendar. Kevin Bacon is an extremely talented actor best know for his excellent work in “Animal House,” “The Air Up There,” and “Hollow Man.” What a cool dude. With all the choices of who he can be connected to, I wonder who it’ll be.

Note: The picture above is a mosaiced picture of Kevin Bacon with the images of numerous other actors and such. This signifies A LOT of stuff. And yes, just stuff in general.

At first glance

Ideally, this first post will be the most boring of all the posts I ever make on this new blog. This blog is my second blog. I love movies and Hollywood, so I thought I would use my blogging powers to do something about it. This blog is actually a bit of a game. I first came across this game sitting in a car one rain evening with my friend Colin. This game is sort of like “6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon,” but less retarded. In this game, the first person says the name of an actor or actress. The next person then says that that person was in so and so movie with so and so actor or actress, and then it continues. So, for example, Person A would say, “Colin Firth.” Then Person B would say, “Colin Firth was in Bridget Jones: Edge of Reason with Renée Zellweger.” Then, Person A would say, “Renée Zellweger was in Empire Records with Liv Tyler,” and so on and so on. The game could most likely never end. It is frowned upon to repeat a person, but not illegal. As this is a blog, and I am the only person writing it, I will be playing against myself, something I am fairly used to as an un-athletic white loser growing up in a primarily black high school. I will be trying to make this as entertaining as possible and will be most likely posting every day. Also, there is one rule: NO RULES.

At first, the connections will be relatively straightforward. They will generally have fun tid-bits thrown in to make you chuckle… cause you know what they say, “ A chuckle a day has been shown in several university testing’s to reduce the effects of osteoporosis and keep it away.” So, you got that going for you.

After one year (378 days), I will see how far we’ve come and who ended up relating to whom. That’ll be so ace. Well, here we go again…
